Kehna aasan hain humain yakin nahi hain tumpe,
Lekin dard ish cheez ka be-panah hota hain.
Aansu ko bahout samjhaya tanhai me aaya karo,
Mehfil me hamara mazak na udaya karo,
Ispar aansu tadap kar bola,
Itne logo me apko tanha paate hai,
Isliye saath nibhane ko chale aate hai!
Darta hun kahin main pagal na ban jaaaun,
Teekhi nazar aur sunahre roop ka kayal na ban Jaaun,
Ab bas bhi kar zalim kuch to raham kha mujhe per,
Kuch der to oojhal ho jaya karo nazro se,
warna kahin main shayar na ban jaoin.
Palkon ke kinare humne bhigoye hi nahi,
Woh sochte hai ki hum roye hi nahi.
Woh poochte hai khwabon me kise dekhte ho,
Aur ek hum hai ki ek umr se soye hi nahi.
